The National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD) has provided training and technical assistance to DD Councils for over three decades. Recently, NACDD was awarded a new five-year contract (75P00121C00067) to provide training and technical assistance to state/territory DD Councils through the Information and Technical Assistance Centers for Councils (ITACC).

Training and technical assistance is funded by The Administration for Community Living, Administration on Disabilities, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (OIDD) and required by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000.
