This report highlights the work and accomplishments of DD Councils with regard to the Achieving a Better Life Experience Act (ABLE Act) and employment, based primarily on their 2018 Program Progress Reports. While this is a thorough overview, noting all key strategies and activities as well as a selection of examples for illustrative purposes, it is not a detailed analysis. The report is intended to provide information to DD Councils, people with I/DD and their families, and others to better understand the work of the DD Council network and to use that information to further efforts on shared priorities.
